3. SCENARIO:
An
individual contributor whose work is very detail-oriented and requires a
lot of concentration found it difficult to write her numerous reports in
the office because of frequent non-business interruptions. She now telecommutes.
Her reports are always on time and accurate - and they contain
considerably more detail than she was able to produce on site. She and her
manager agree that this is a good arrangement for both the individual
and the business unit.
